Should I RSVP if I'm on the fence?
Talk to us about what has you on the fence. Maybe's are helpful for planning so we know whether to expand the invite list or just wait more patiently. We can also answer questions that would help you decide.
How long should I stay?
There is flexibilit. We would generally suggest 3-10 days (5-7 maybe being the sweet spot). And in some cases, staying for an extended period (~3 weeks) could work great.

What do your days look like and how would I fit into them?
We leave at 6am for a 2 hour hike and/or beach walk/swim. Then we eat breakfast at home. Ellie will be working (unless you catch her on a weekend or vacation day). We make food yummy food for lunch and dinner (you can eat with us or eat out). Around 5pm, we had to the ocean for a sunset swim. Then we wind down for bed around 8:30pm.
We'll be eager to share at least a couple hours each day, especially if you want to join for our daily activities (hike, swim, eat, yoga). We both also need a fair amount of alone time.
I've got some strong preferences that affect whether I'll be comfy here. Can you work with me on those?
Ellie is high maintenance AF. She will gladly help you out. We haven't stayed in this apartment before so we're less familiar with what it has to offer and its drawbacks. But we are pretty familiar with what's available for purchase in the city and what requests might be accommodatable.
What are the house rules?
This is an evolving list. Let us know what your needs are and what you'd like to see added.
It's a plant-based house. This will limit food poisoning and tears.
Try to keep noise near bedrooms to a reasonable level. Be considerate, especially at night and early morning.
Help keep the space clean.
Can I bring my companion animal?
Sadly, no :( We've already got 2 scaredy cats.
Can I bring my partner or child?
Yes, dependent on timing and whether you're ok sharing a room with them.
What if I want to visit you but book my own place?
Totally ok (and encouraged!). Let us know dates still so that we can make sure we aren't busy with other friends and/or can pair your visit with friends we think you'll jive well with.
What if I need to work while here?
Sadly, there are not desks or office chairs in the apartment. There are cafes and restaurants nearby that people use for working.
What flight would you recommend from Ontario?
If you're flying from Ontario, we suggest checking out Flair Airlines. Many of the bigger airlines don't fly direct to Puerto Vallarta. Flair flies direct from Toronto and Kitchener/Waterloo, and costs less than the other options.

Reasons not to come...
If you can't walk up hills - the infrastructure is bumpy and very hilly. If you're walking with Ellie, she'll take you on the hilliest route for fun.
You really prefer your own space - we personally will want a good amount of space too, but if your needs are on the extreme end then a communal house may not be for you.
If you can't respect that some people have sleep issues and you shouldn't tap dance after 9:30pm outside the designated zones.
You want a different experience - this is not a resort. We are in town near real people.
You don't want any solo time - we are eager to hang out for at least a couple hours each day. We both also need our alone time and Ellie will be working for most of her weeks there.
You want to eat meat, ovum, or mammary liquids in the house.
You want an endless rager - we strike a good mix of getting good sleep, physical exercise, and adventure.
